Last Sunday we had a wonderful day at the Rubber Ducks Stadium with Mass, good food, friendship, sunshine, HEAT and more! It was a good day to be together not only as a parish family, but a wider church family, as other parish families were there. After Mass, families were allowed to play catch on the field. You can also see the back drop of the Mass was the field as we celebrated on the dugout. It was an experience I never had before! After communion, we prayed for especially for peace and safety in the City of Akron.
The next day was the first day of School for our Day School! It is amazing how having school brings such life back to the campus! There is a 180-degree difference to the atmosphere. Thank you to parents, grandparents and guardians who believe in Catholic education so much that they support their children going here! Here’s a picture of the 1st grade class on the first day of school!
As we enter into September, on a broader level, I want to thank our parish families who support their children being present at youth group, PSR, homeschool program, and more! Without your support, we would not be the parish family God is calling us to be. Thank you!
May God’s peace and joy be with you,
